Link to Haut de la Garenne[edit]

It has been reported that Paisnel visited Haut de la Garenne dressed as Father Christmas. Can this justify this text (moved here for discussion): and would visit orphanages and care homes dressed as Santa Claus, seeking victims.? How should the allegations be best worded? Man vyi (talk) 04:02, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

They're not "allegations"! - he was tried and convicted in 1971 already. This has all been proven in a court of law and is on the record.--feline1 (talk) 11:29, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The allegations are with regard to a link to Haut de la Garenne which is not "orphanages and care homes". Man vyi (talk) 11:53, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The allegations linking the Beast with Haut de la Garenne are a classic example of journalists reporting hear say without checking the facts. If you read the two key books on the Beast [ Ward Rutherford's The Beast:The Final Chapter and Paisnel's wife, Joan's book on The Beast Of Jersey] there is no mention of HDG in particular. As far as I can remember, I think it was a vegetarian guest house... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crasp (talkcontribs) 01:41, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wore mask/Did not wear mask[edit]

This article states: "He entered homes at night dressed in a rubber mask and nail-studded wristlets, attacking women and children." "...and a police photo of her husband wearing the horrific mask which he wore when he kidnapped and assaulted his victims. Please note that as stated at trial, that Paisnel never wore the mask during his attacks" This seems to be contradictory. Terrible Article[edit]

This is a truly terrible article: there's hardly any information about the case in either the Biography or Capture and conviction sections —which are in the wrong order! Nuttyskin (talk) 00:00, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
