The way WP works[edit]

@Ricardo canedo: The first principle in Wikipedia is that editing must be supported by sources. The second is that the sources must be reliable. If you have a source you believe to be reliable which gives support to your text modification, you must embed that source into the text (otherwise, you are only doing half the job). Your edit to this article fails the required principles because the edit you want to make does not have an embedded source; the source mention in your edit summary (which is not the place to do that in any event because if it's good enough it ought to be in the edit itself) is a personal genealogical research page; and the material removed by you is supported by a superior quality source. Thus now you have the opportunity of providing a proper edit. If you are unable to do so, the edit will be reverted in a day or two. Thanks. sirlanz 21:54, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
