The name Easton Neston[edit]

I removed a statement today saying the parish got its name from the house. I don't think that's right. The big house was built around 1700 in the parish. There was a village called Easton Neston there until c. 1500 maybe, but it's long gone. The village appears in the Domesday Book as Estanestone, which suggests it was held by a man named Bondi before the Conquest. Oliver Low (talk) 16:03, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
