Area[edit]

Could someone please add the total area of this part of the country in square kilometers to the article. Peninsular Malaysia lists it but it's missing here. --Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 13:52, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm having trouble finding a source for the population. The web doesn't seem to have one... and I'm beginning to wonder if that statement is reliable or not. BejinhanTalk 12:25, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Which figure are you talking about? The 5.7 mil? I got it from wikipedia pages, ie on Sabah (3.2m), Sarawak (2.4m) and Malaysia (28.3m) and i did the calculations myself (im not sure if its against wikipedia policy or guidelines to do this). But i cant yet find a direct source saying that the population of EM is 5.7 mil. I dont think u would be able to find a direct source stating the total pop. of EM. U may have to find the source the pop. fig for each state and make your own calculations. So it might require multiple citations. ќמшמφטтгמtorque 16:25, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The figures found on wikipedia may be overstated by about 100,000-200,000. I'll make amendments soon when i can get the sources. ќמшמφטтгמtorque 16:37, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I'm talking about the 5.7mil figure. I couldn't find a single reliable source to back it up... and it has to be verified for verifiability reasons.
