Separate article[edit]

Does this article really need to be separate from Greater Anglia franchise? Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern went through multiple franchise renamings in one article.   JaJaWa |talk  15:51, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge suggestion[edit]

As the East Anglia franchise is exactly the same as the Greater Anglia franchise has been since May 2015, just with a new name, suggest that the latter be merged into this article. Mer70x (talk) 06:35, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the doubling up of information on each page simply to reduce confusion whilst the two pages remain independent however I agree with your proposal to merge the two. Wilbysuffolk (Talk to me!) 22:17, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There's certainly a strong case for merger - I'd support a merge into one or the other. There's also a case, in my opinion, to include the word rail in the title - so East Anglia rail franchise for example. This seems to me to be more effective as a title for the article - it's odd that it's not there actually. Blue Square Thing (talk) 11:49, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Merge of Greater Anglia Franchise into East Anglia franchise was completed in April 2016. Wire723 (talk) 16:18, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
