Hi!

Your article on B. pratorum is very well written - you've got lots of good content on there! To improve it slightly, I made some formatting changes such as combining or editing headings. I combined "Distribution" and "Habitat", since they are closely related topics. I also renamed "Description" to "Description and identification". Additionally, I moved the first sentence under "Division and Labor: workers" to the "Description and identification" section because I thought it would be more appropriate there. I thought it might be proper to replace a few "it" and "its" to the actual name of the species, especially at the beginning of a paragraph, so I changed those. Lastly, I found one sentence with slightly awkward phrasing: "Many bees of the Bombus species are parasitized by bees of the Psithyrus species including B. pratorum." This implies that B. pratorum is a species under the genus Psithyrus, so I rearranged that sentence to: "Many bees of the Bombus species, including B. pratorum, are parasitized by...".

All in all, you included many relevant sections and did a great job with your research!

Review[edit]

This article was very well written. It had many sections, which was nice when trying to understand the life of this bee species. I fixed a few grammatical mistakes that are outlined below and fixed some issues that had to do with commas. I also reworded some sentences. I rearranged the organization of the article to help the article flow better. I added a hyperlink to polyandry. Some recommendations I would have for this article is that the taxonomy and phylogeny section and colony cycle should be expanded. I would also recommend adding more sections on behavior, specifically on territorial, and maybe another section describing communication within this bee species. Overall, well done.

This article was well researched and contained lots of information yet it was concisely written - good job! I did make some minor changes. Like Roohi.byakod, I thought the organization could be slightly better and to the behavior section I added a mini-section called egg-laying. I also thought the overview was a little sparse. Besides adding that the Early bumblebee can emerge as early as February, I also added the following two sentences in an effort to highlight some interesting information about the bee in the overview and to make it a bit longer so as to balance out the entire article:

"Like other bumblebees, Bombus pratorum lives in colonies with queen and worker castes. Interestingly, Bombus pratorum queens use aggressive behavior rather than pheromones to maintain dominance over the workers."

Again well done.
