Vote discrepancy[edit]

There is a difference in the vote counts - the text says the bill was approved 438 to 20, but the table says 437 to 20. The source (CommonsVotes) says 438, but it also says "There is a difference between the official result of this division based on the Teller's count and the number of Members recorded by the clerks". Hansard says 438, but only has 437 names in the list.

Either way, this is more than the 434 MPs required to vote for an early election under the FTPA - is this worth an ironic footnote? John Womble (talk) 09:20, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
