Name Spelling[edit]
In "Memoirs of the Pretenders and their Adherents" by John Heenage Jesse (1846)the family name is spelled "Dalziel."
"ROBERT DALZIEL, EARL OF CARNWATH, is described by Patten as a nobleman distinguished by his affability to his inferiors, by his sweetness of temper...."
