{{cleanup}}[edit]

Article is a little 'iffy' and confused. I know nothing about this topic, though.

I really have no idea what to add, but I am a native of the town. Feel free to ask me questions DevastatorIIC 20:48, September 11, 2005 (UTC)

SInce the opposition to the Muni was mentioned, I added a mention of the Petitions to secede from the Muni that have been circulating periodically since 2000. (I, too live in Eagle River.) Wfh 09:19, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Based on wikipedia's difinition of suburb, I'm a little confused as to whether Eagle River is a town within the Municipality of Anchorage, or whether it is a district of the city of Anchorage. Are the city and the "Municipality" the same? --Coryma "Go brain go." 17:52, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

I added Papa John's Pizza to the food section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.22.48.2 (talk) 17:21, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I added Starbucks as a local coffee shop where people go to hang out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.174.14.116 (talk) 09:48, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I have added to and expanded this section (and deleted the flag referenced in the subject/headline above). It's been a while since I've heavily added to entries on Wikipedia, so please let me know nicely if I have stumbled. :)

Do let me know if you feel my changes to this referenced paragraph are improved.

Still working on updating/improving this listing[edit]

I originally had intended to make very minor edits, then kept finding out of date info I could improve upon. I noted all my changes, but I know there is still more to do.

For example, I know the Census info needs to be updated to include 2010--then noticed that the 2000 population #s don't match what I found for 2000, so am still looking into that.

In addition, I will go back in and fix some of the issues with references that are my fault for not being 100 percent familiar yet with formatting. Suggestions/additions welcome, though probably best if you give it a couple days for me to finish before being too picky.

Thank you!!

Evaluation[edit]

I think that the sources could use a little bit of updating. Such as the census data or the data on the economy section of the article. I also think some information on the historical aspect of this area could be lengthier. Liamdlny (talk) 22:11, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
