Lost in Translation?[edit]

I was just wondering how accurately this page was translated. On the surface tension page it lists the first formula and states that k is constant that changes for each substance and gives an example for the k of water. This page lists k as a different number and a constant for all liquids. Can someone please clarify this. Thanks 125.238.243.226 05:06, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this article is correct: k is nearly constant for most liquids. Please see http://www.ppsi.ethz.ch/fmi/xsl/eqi/eqi_property_details_en.xsl?node_id=1113 for details on k. I changed the article on surface tension accordingly (it was inconsistent in the units used). Regards NickFr (talk) 19:54, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
