Translation into English[edit]

This page would probably benefit from some love and attention as there are some slight problems with the translation from German. I have done some work on it, but until I read about Duplex Worms in another source there are some parts whose meanings I could not be sure I was changing for the worse. There is probably an info box for this somewhere, I'll dig it up. BananaFiend (talk) 17:03, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
long time I didn't take care about the Duplex_worm article. Normally it was stable and complete. Only today I noticed that the original PDF file that I published in 1991 disappeared from it's storage area at http://www.henschel.eu/data/DUPLEX-SD-AT-1991-english.pdf. I stopped working for this company, so I don't know why the PDF file with the reference text was deleted. Thanks to User:InternetArchiveBot having replaced the file by the archived one on the web.archive.org at https://web.archive.org/web/20110720162715/http://www.henschel.eu/data/DUPLEX-SD-AT-1991-english.pdf. And thanks to User:Alexf for replacing my change. I am sorry, that I thought that it would be better to save the PDF to my own web space.

Saving to your own webspace is not acceptable as a source in Wikipedia. It looks like you are spamming your own website, which you effectively are, even if that was not your intention. -- Alexf(talk) 16:41, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure that the actual storing place of the PDF file at web.archive.org is ok for future? If so, I will proceed in the same manner with the german version of the file. In the german article the original PDF file was replaced by a worm catalogue which doesn't match the original version of the publication at all. --Rauhut (talk) 16:09, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
