Interesting topic[edit]

Interesting topic, any more info on its impact over the years or in modern day? Also it seems to be established in 1766 and then in 1776, it might be good to clarify the distinction in the two dates.--Mdukas (talk) 15:36, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The first date is date of formation. IIRC the second was some sort of mention of them in House of Commons committee. The article is not suggesting two distinct foundation dates. I'd like more on the fund, but last time I looked, that was all there was on the web for it, and I have to time to delve into paper sources. --Tagishsimon (talk) 21:36, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
