The article states that there is only one school in Drighlington, when I lived there, they were 2 an infants school and a seperate junior school. What happened to them?Flibbs 03:18, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sometime in the last 3 years, the two were merged into a combined Primary school on the site of the old Drighlington Infants School. What happened to the Junior School, i can't say for sure. The building still exists and looks pretty much the same as it always did (from what i can see from the roadside anyway). I don't know what actually is going to happen to it. In this small village there are a few shops, pubs and one school (Drighlington Primary School) and a superb Post Office. Drighlington is famous within the area for the sporting abilities of its football, rugby and cricket teams. There is also the excellent "The Manor" golf course. I've taken this out. None of it's sourced and I'm pretty sure that "superb" and "excellent" constitute POV. Scribblin' Simon (talk) 17:51, 6 January 2008 (UTC) In addition to the bus serviceslisted in the article there is at least one service to Bradford. Metropolitan District[edit]

Article states that Drighlington is in the City of Leeds metropolitan district, but all Drighlington addresses are Bradford BD11 with no mention of Leeds or an LS postcode. Anyone can check this on Google Maps. What is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:B227:B200:7C29:6251:F583:AA8D (talk) 21:26, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Postcodes and postal addresses do not always reflect local government boundaries, as in this case - see the table in the BD postcode area article. PamD 22:03, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If you click on the coordinates in the article and look at a large-scale OS map you can see that it's very near the point where Leeds, Bradford and Kirklees meet, but definitely the Leeds side of the boundaries. PamD 22:07, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
