Subject[edit]

The various families discussed in this article aren't related to each other. They just had the same surname. I couldn't find any actual connection in bibliography between a Souliot Drakos/Drakates clan of the 18th century and the Phanariote Soutzos family or the Cypriot Drakos. The excerpt from Psimouli about the village Kamarina is not written by Psimouli, it's a quote from I. Labridis (19th century) where the author writes that the Drakos of Souli came from a village which in the era of the author was Greek-speaking. Psimouli discusses several branches of the Souliot Drakos, which had Albanian names. In any case, there is no contradiction in bibliography between these two pieces of information. I removed all information which doesn't pertain to the Souliot clan from the article and I will rewrite some parts from Psimouli in order for them to make sense since the way they were written was confusing.--Maleschreiber (talk) 12:09, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
