Dragon's Teeth[edit]

It'll take a while to find the exact reference, but the initial in-house adverts said that the series would be "Dragon's Teeth" - it was then renamed before publication. Tagline for this was (from memory) "Earth 8162: Not a nice place to live" or something of that nature. I'll update the article as soon as I can verify this.

Your completely right about this. I remember this as well. The Prime Source 15:36, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Dale[reply]

I remember this too, in fact I'm fairly sure there was a short promo story introducing the team, before the proper comic was launched, published in an issue of Death's Head comic (Maybe), which had the title Dragon's Teeth...Daigo NLI —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.239.159.5 (talk) 12:13, August 28, 2007 (UTC)

The comic WAS originally going to be called Dragon's Teeth, but a name change had to be made at the 11th hour because, according to Richard Starkings (the editor and also letterer of #1, going under the pseudonym 'Zed'), there was already a publication going by that name (IRC, it was a Canadian Fanzine of some sort). Dragon's Calws did appear in Death's Head, but this was a guest shot in #2. Death's Head was released after Dragon's Claws so could not have had a promo in that comic. I don't believe any sort of promotional strip was created for Dragon's Claws and the only reason one was done for Death's Head was so that Marvel had the copyright for the character so that it wasn't taken by Hasbro's 'catch 'em all' deal they has with Marvel for the Transformers License (Source - Foreward by Simon Furman for Death's Head Collection v1 published by Panini UK).

The tag line for the comic was indeed "Earth 8162: Not a nice place to live", with "Dragon's Teeth/ Claws could make it better!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.2.52.152 (talk) 18:07, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was sure that NURSE specifically sent the wildcats to attack Dragon to get him back, and the sub plot where one of the wildcats brothers seeks vengeance on Dragon, but then finds they were set up etc is missing. Need to get my comics out to check! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.254.202.1 (talk) 12:00, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Dragons claws07.jpg[edit]

Image:Dragons claws07.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:52, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
