A spot-check of the references shows that several from mainstream media are really just articles referencing Jeff Sharlet's book on The Family. Need to remove the level of indirection. Tagged with BLP[edit]

I agree that this has to be written with care. However, the fact that Coe has repeatedly invoked Hitler or Lenin is not a matter of dispute. The problem is to avoid interpreting these as admiration or calls to emulate their methods. Similarly, the quote of David Coe is not appropriate because its veracity is unverifiable and because its presence certainly skews the article. On the other hand, discussing David and Doug Coe's understanding of sin is fair game and relevant to the portrait of important figures of American Christian fundamentalism. Doug Coe appears to me to be someone to look at sceptically. Her has risen to his position with very little doctrination. The people he meets with and have influence over are people that are not Christ like. The fellowship is looking to get members in high political positions simply for world domination. They are an evil group of people that must be looked at skepytically at all times. Please do not be mistrude because they say they do things in Christ name, any one can say that. Be weary of the ttreaties that are passed. Even the evil can accept peace when there is a Greter Goal. Need for NPOV[edit]

The current modifications sought by Ivananderson (talk · contribs) are not acceptable as they move the article away from an objective account of facts. Sentences such as

Coe's ministry in mentoring and discipling is widely known, his enjoyment of athletics and his devoted family life, having raised four boys and two girls.

or

He became the mentor of dozens of seekers of Christ who came like the Pharisee Nicodemas came to Jesus, quietly, by night, to ask Faith questions.

are not acceptable. Neither is the transformation of

Coe was a behind-the-scenes player at the Camp David Accords

to

Coe was a behind-the-scenes spiritual mentor at the Camp David Accords.

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:
