Found dead twice[edit]

This is concerning his television appearances. Mr. Drysdale was also on the Beverly HillBillies. the article currently has these two consecutive sentences:

  • Drysdale was found dead by radio station employees sent to look for him when he was late for his scheduled broadcast. After Drysdale missed the team bus, the hotel staff went in and found him face down, near his bed.

Either story looks right, but they contradict. Did they start looking when he missed the bus or when he failed to show at the ball park? Was he found by hotel or radio employees? There's no point in having details if they can't be verified.  Randall Bart   Talk  20:30, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Robert Kennedy tape[edit]

The source listed in the citation for this story makes no actual mention of the tape. I wrote to his widow, Ann Meyers Drysdale, to ask about the tape and have posted the response on my blog. Before asking her, I was never able to find any actual proof to the story.
