Sorry. It has been a long time since I entered anything on Wikipedia and I have forgotten a great deal about how to do things. However I think it is important to give Don Crosby a better picture. I am the author of The Shadowcatchers a history of Australian cinematography and am credited as such in Wikipedia. I forgot to sign off on my last post - My apologies.

In explanation I wrote a short version of the following - This oil portrait of Don Crosby was painted by an amateur in the 1960s, and does not appropriately represent Don as a veteran actor, longtime President of Actors Equity - MEAA - and recipient of the AFI Raymond Longford award, the Australian screen industry’s most prestigious lifetime achievement award. I request that the painted image be removed and replaced with the Equity cover. Don's studio head shots are no longer available. Written permission for use of the image has been obtained from rights holder Lizzie Franks, Communications Manager, MEAA Equity Magazine <Lizzie.franks@meaa.org>. I hope that you will consider this request for a change of image. I am a screen industry professional with a commitment to the accurate representation of images associated with screen professionals.
