use in filming[edit]

I"m pretty sure the diner is called the Dogwood Valley Cafe, but will check that. What I do know is that, because this is within the 100 or 150 mile "Vancouver film zone" (meaning no surcharges for union or equipment costs within that limit), it gets used a lot in filming. I know this because I was cast in a music video, by a band whose name I've forgotten for now, a spin-off/protege band via Nickelback, Chad Kroeger producer I think (for the song anyway though not the filming) and that many of the crew commented they knew the place well from other shoots. Hard to cite and I can't remember the band's name anyway but just noting this for future reference. Never noticed the dogwood trees described in the BC Names entry, but then they weren't in flower at the time, I guess.Skookum1 (talk) 02:21, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
