Nate has said in many interviews that he has never known anyone named Becca (and was, in fact, spelling "because" on the track Dog Problems); furthermore, the title comes from the fact that he bought a dog with his girlfriend and when they broke up, they were unsure who should claim ownership (not that they "bought a dog every time they broke up," which doesn't even make sense).
