This may be pedantic in relation to a comedy film, but the scene where Sir Lancelot Spratt asks the student what he would do if he found him unconscious and breathing heavily doesn't look at all accurate. Medical techniques may have changed over the years, but going by the first aid training I received not so long ago, assuming that he was breathing, I would first call an ambulance, then check for spinal injuries, and if there were none then I would put him in the recovery position. Attempting to lift someone single-handed, particularly someone of Spratt's size, strikes me as very ill-advised, you could be running the risk of doing yourself an injury, you might also drop him.
