Comments[edit]

Good work! You've done a great job with wiki-formatting, which is often difficult for new users. I did make a few changes to the article:

  • I wikilinked to Michele Weiner-Davis so that her article can get more traffic.
  • I removed the "further reading" section for two reasons:
    • This information is more appropriate in the article on Weiner-Davis. With the wikilink, it will be easier for readers to get to her article.
    • Per WP:LAYOUT (the Wikipedia guideline on how to structure articles), "Further reading" is actually for works that could have been used as sources in the article but were not. For example, in this article it might include book reviews that are not used as sources.
  • I removed the table of contents for the book. This is overly detailed and a format that is generally discouraged. Instead, a separate section that is an overview of the book content would be appropriate.

You may also want to work on the format for your citations. Wikipedia encourages inline citations, so that people can easily match which source provided which data in the article. Citations can be tricky. There is guidance at WP:Citing sources and details at Wikipedia:Citing sources/example style. (For a real-life example, you can see my Convention of 1832.) Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Good luck! Karanacs (talk) 19:03, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
