List of teachers[edit]

On an earlier edit, I mentioned in an edit summary that administrators should be listed and teachers may be. Another user subsequently removed the list, and I support that removal for two reasons:

  1. Wikipedia is not a directory. None of the teachers are notable people per Wikipedia's definition, so there will be little to no interest in the list to readers unconnected to the school. Those needing the names of teachers would find better, more recent information from the school's website—and that's the resource they should be getting the information from.
  2. The list is so long that it overwhelms the rest of the article. The article would be better improved with prose about the school.

If anybody can provide policy-based reasons why the list of teachers should be restored to the article, I welcome them to reply here. —C.Fred (talk) 02:51, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
