Clumsy format[edit]

Entries like

* Devon Anderson (Devon Carlo Anderson, born 1987), English actor

slow down reading, and ignore the fact that the YoB is almost always more help in distinguish people than the middle name. That entry should read

* Devon Anderson (born 1987, middle name Carlo), English actor

and correspondingly for all the others. You might even use e.g. "... m.n. Carlo" or "(born 1987 : Carlo)" for the 2nd and succeeding entries.

Meaning[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devin_(name): "The male or female name Devin is pronounced DEV-in. It is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is most commonly given as 'bard' or 'poet'" (uncited - and 'Gaelic' is what is usually known as Irish in Ireland, so 'Irish and Gaelic' doesn't make much sense) The meaning given here is cited to a baby names website. Which is correct? Robocon1 (talk) 14:23, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Babynames sites aren't very good sources. I've got a reliable source handy though and have re-jigged things a bit with it.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 01:36, 26 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
