Connection to England?[edit]

In what sense is this guy "British"? It clearly states that he was born and raised in Houston and that he now resides in New York. Based on this information, he should be listed as American! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.125.148.137 (talk) 12:31, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Right now it says he’s an “American-born English singer”, but later on it says he was born in East London. Maybe this should be that he’s an American-based English singer? Harrycaul77 (talk) 12:07, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He was born in Houston but grew up in the UK (Ilford, Essex), he only moved back to the US in the last few years. In interviews you generally get the impression he sees himself as British. You could call him Anglo-American I suppose, but then his parents are from Ghana, so it is debatable how much of a connection to the US he has beyond being born there.82.47.175.57 (talk) 08:23, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

the band[edit]

Timothymurphy (talk) 12:31, 11 March 2008 (UTC) i just tweaked this paragraph. in the sentence describing the current line up, it began "according to the NME...". the format we follow is to state the information and then provide a reference at the end of the sentence. to i changed it to that format. however, i'm not sure which part of the NME to refer to , i just made it link to the NME website - a pretty vague reference. i suppose, any description of the "current" band line-up will be pretty hard to pin down. it seems to change alot..[reply]

a very attractive man[edit]

the article says "he is a very attractive man". this is hardly an objective comment! i think this needs to be removed along with the comment about him dating a "professional pudding chef". how does this kind of thing get published?

his name[edit]

Could it be noted where he got his name from, in an interview with Dev on youtube, he tells how he thought his name up: at the age of 13, he designed a character called lightspeed champion who would solve things with maths, and hed draw comics etc for him, and thats where he got his name from :D86.130.26.81 (talk) 16:01, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Change the name![edit]
