Content Dispute[edit]

The article has been subject to persistent edits by HistorianDele. Notably, these edits have shifted the focus from Ghana, where the article primarily centers, to Nigeria. The primary theme of the article revolves around Ghana's emergence as a significant destination for the African diaspora, driven by the government's tourism initiatives. These efforts, highlighted by the "Year of Return, Ghana 2019" and "Beyond the Return" campaigns in 2019, have contributed to the establishment of a cultural tradition where individuals return to Ghana every December leading to the popularization of the term Detty December.

Despite the references supporting the Ghanaian context, the user has consistently altered the article to emphasize Nigeria. This included the creation of a new page titled "Detty December in Ghana," where the entire original article was copied and pasted, while edits were made to the primary article to align it with a Nigerian perspective. The user has engaged in a dispute over the term's origin, deviating from the broader focus of the article.

I’ve made efforts to encourage the user to contribute a Nigerian version of the content with proper sources. However, these suggestions have been ignored. Ibdawud (talk) 14:37, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mobile App Issue with Tag[edit]

I've had this problem with other articles, but for some reason, Wikipedia's mobile app is placing header li k tags, such as the About on this page and at least Distinguish on others after the top paragraph rather than at the top of the page. Please, whomever works on the technical code for Wikipedia's mobile app, look into this problem. It's not a huge issue, but it renders differently than intended, eventhough the pages look fine in the browser or desktop. KnowTheManyHistories (talk) 04:54, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
