Title[edit]

In the Orthodox church, Mary the mother of Jesus is adressed *Panagia,Despoina*.This is well known, and any reference is not required. Some scholars believe that the title *my lady* - recalls the Pre-Greek title a-sa-sa-ra-me in Linear A script. The Myceneans used the title *potnia*. 2.86.111.82 (talk) 22:03, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Gendered pronoun issue[edit]

about halfway through the "winter myth" section, the gendered pronouns seem to flip-flop, unclear if this is a translation error or if there were some editing mistakes. 173.212.84.3 (talk) 22:06, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed that whole section, as it was unsourced and incorrectly placed in the article's lead. I am unfamiliar with the figure of Despoina, but some of the content looks as though it may have been correct; however, before it can be added back, it would need to be cited to reliable sources (and not be placed in the lead). – Michael Aurel (talk) 22:14, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
