Poland DVD release[edit]

I have removed the following from the main article page because it does not make any sense:

In Poland, DVD and VCD with its episodes were added to the tv-magazine at first and then some episodes were also released separatelly on DVD in regular sale.

If the editor who wrote this would like it re-added to the main article page, can you please clarify what it is you are trying to say on this page before you do so. Alan Parker[edit]

Ratings[edit]

"The series' three seasons attained great popularity in the United Kingdom, with ratings averaging between 14 to 20 million viewers." It would be interesting to see a reference for these figures. They seem implausibly huge. According to Wikipedia itself the wedding of Charles and Diana had 28.40 million viewers, and an average of between 14 to 20 million viewers would make several episodes among the most-watched of all time in the UK. At least one episode would surely appear on the BFI's list of the most popular programmes of the 1980s, here. It simply was never that popular. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 22:19, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's far too large. The link you've given is broken now, but [1] there's one here [link is no good either] and D&M doesn't appear once in the top 10 for 85 or 86 - the lowest figures being 17.3m, so it could never have hit 20m. It was probably highly rated given the promotion and money spent on it, but I would say the highest is 14m (not the lowest).--Tuzapicabit (talk) 00:49, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Series Title[edit]

What was the reason for the series being canceled? Was it simply weak ratings, or was it something else?
