Decoy-building spiderDecoy spiders – The current name may mislead that the article is about a single specific spider, e.g. Jumping spider, rather than a behavior of multiple species. Also, "Decoy spider" is the WP:COMMONNAME. JETH888 message me 17:50, 1 September 2021 (UTC) — Relisting.  ASUKITE 18:59, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • If moved it should probably be Decoy spider (singular) per WP:PLURAL. Crouch, Swale (talk) 07:04, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Skeptical: The suggested title makes it sound like the topic is the decoys that are built rather than the spiders that build them. On the other hand, I didn't find the phrase "decoy-building spider" in any of the cited sources. — BarrelProof (talk) 02:28, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • When I looked into this a few weeks ago, my conclusion was that this is an invented descriptive term from a few pop-sci articles and is not used elsewhere. It's not an independent subject and the content should be merged into Cyclosa, where the discussed species are classified. I had planned to do this, but other things came up and in any case I won't while the discussion is active. — The Earwig (talk) 03:00, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge into Cyclosa – we risk spreading a little used and poorly sourced name. Peter coxhead (talk) 20:08, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
