7ou have an error in this article. The mention of the Marriage Act (Scotland) of 1567 in relation to incest is incorrect. The Incest Act of 1567 (#14 in Table of Contents) covered forbidden sexual intercourse as described in Leviticus chap 18. This bible chapter does not mention marrying your sister-in-law after your wife is dead; only while your wife is alive.
