If you can clarify exactly which one it is, I can make a drive next weekend to get pictures. As I understand it, there are 5 mosques/Islamic centers in Dearborn. No, it's one of the Mosques in one of the most heavily Islamic areas in the Western world, it's been around for a long time, and it's pretty large. Seems like it has good reason to be kept. - Taxman ^Talk 20:04, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Now this is exactly the kind of information (backed by verifiable sources and independent 3rd party citations) that needs to be in the article ... that's why I have just placed an {{importance}} template on it.

Sometimes in the late 1980s, when I lived outside of Ann Arbor (where I made shahada in my 30s), I used to go there for Eids ... you should be able to find some coverage that it's the "oldest" or "largest" something in North America, the United States, or the state of Michigan (Wayne County or Dearborn is a Little Too Trivial for notability), but I don't have the time or interest to do it myself.
