Verifiability tag[edit]

During a recent deletion discussion (unanimously closed as Keep), this Deanna Marcum page was flagged as excessively relying on sources too closely associated with the subject. I believe that the current sources are not self-published, unduly self-serving, or from questionable authors or publications. The sources relay factual information that is reflected in other independent sources. The citations are from professional organizations, scholarly journals, or colleagues that employed Marcum, collaborated with her, issued her awards, interviewed her, etc. I believe the verifiability flag can be safely removed, but I am posting here first to open a dialogue as necessary.
