I tried my best to incorporate my data with the previous stub. I don't understand what happened to the footnotes. AYUDO!Bernard ferrell (talk) 16:47, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Joker's Utility Belt and The Joker Is Wild[edit]

I don't have an "official" source regarding the relationship between the two stories. But by comparing the two, there is no denying that the older comic book influenced the TV script.

1. Comic Book: The Joker and his goons enter and run amok through the history of comedy museum. TV SHow: The Joker and his thugs do the same. Comic book: the Joker decides to create his own utility belt. TV Show: he does the same. Comic book: the Joker makes an escape by switching belts with Batman. TV Show: uh, same thing. The Comic Book: Bats foils the Joker by noticing there was something weird about the cork on the wine bottle he was going to use to christen an ocean liner. The TV show: do I have to say it...?

Oh, by the way. If the Bookends\antibook no longer exists, Vern Reed's pseudonyms are listed under a pseudonyms website(which features Sci-Fi writers) when you google his name. Double click under "David Vern" and they all show up.User:MARK VENTURE (talk) 17:28, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reed new additions[edit]

If I am not mistaken, Reed's pseudonyms were listed by the editor of "Letters To The Batman" but I cannot remember in which issue. I'll try to help with some of the other references. The editor of L.T.T.B. was either E.Nelson Bridewell or Bob Rozakis.MARK VENTURE (talk) 21:37, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Joker's Wild\Joker's Utility Belt not coincidental[edit]

The episode in question "The Joker's Wild" was just recently broadcast on MeTV and in the second part ("Batman is Riled") Batman spotted that the cork and seal of the Joker's gimmicked champagne bottle were not properly aged--EXACTLY like in DVR's comic book story, so I think it's now safe to say the comic book story was adapted for the t.v. show.MARK VENTURE (talk) 02:13, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
