The David Royle with a TV career is definitely a different person. Martin Rathfelder 27/1/07

Is the redirect appropriate? Disambiguation preferred?[edit]

As already noted on the talk page David Royle is the name of an actor who plays a recurring major character in the Dalziel and Pascoe television adaptation. I see that this article redirects to Fallowfield on the basis of a councillor for Fallowfield ward also being called David Royle. This redirect seems overly local to Manchester and a disambiguation page might be preferable. I would be bold and make the change but I thought it better to leave this message in hopes that anyone opposed to such a change could put their views before any decision is made one way or another. Given that there has been no response I decided to be bold and change this to a disambiguation page. Currently David Royle (actor) is a redlink, though. Alex McKee (talk) 19:26, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
