Contemplative?[edit]

Why is this community called a contemplative community. "Contemplative" means called to a life of prayer and penance in a cloistered convent like the Poor Clares and the Trappistines. Daughters of Wisdom taught in our high school and operated the orphanage. They are very much an active community. 71.53.192.69 (talk) 12:44, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
