Hello Tarselli, kudos for your work on WP:500 Women Scientists. As you have figured out, WP:ACADEMIC is a tall hurdle. "Staff scientist and project leader" may not be enough to get her over the hill. I want to see your article stick. Ms. Lim is certainly outstanding in her field, but her bona fides need to be presented in a format that is closer to what WP expects. If the article doesn't check all the boxes, then you need to promote her using the checklist of your choice. Lim doesn't hold a university post. She has taken a different route. May I suggest that the lede be amplified a bit to describe her important public-facing role. I suggest as well that you create a bibliography and call out her papers. The work to create references is already done. I would suggest that the section Volunteering and public speaking be renamed Public outreach, and perhaps moved up in the stack. That is where here big contribution is, not in her particular research. I would puff up the significance of her appearances with Ira Flatow; 1.3 million listeners tune in each week. I haven't read every one of the references, but a quote like, "Lim has stimulated popular interest in Mars like no other scientist, man or woman; she is in high demand for speaking engagements," would be great. If you want help, I volunteer. Otherwise, I'll remain on the sidelines cheering you on. Rhadow (talk) 10:38, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lim is not just a researcher. To get a ten or twenty-five minute segment on NPR tells me that she is a primary voice of NASA where Mars is concerned. When you break the code for Lim, you might want to tackle Shannon Kobs-Nawotniak. Rhadow (talk) 12:40, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
