The last hours of Prime[edit]

Does anyone have any information on the last few hours of Prime before it was rebranded TVtropolis and what the last show was that appeard on the channel as "Prime", somewhat similiar to what is written in "MTV Canada"'s article... "The final show to be broadcasted as talktv was on March 20 at 11:30 p.m. EST - specifically that night's episode of eTalk Daily, followed at midnight by the start of a countdown clock with a red MTV logo on a black screen.".... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.198.108.51 (talk) 23:39, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I can't answer your question. I was surprised to find out the channel changed. There seemed to be no warning whatsoever. NorthernThunder 00:19, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that it was Open Homes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.70.130.14 (talk) 02:22, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If somebody could provide me with a copy of PRIMEs final schedule before it became TVtropolis, I could explain this better, but here's the best I can provide:
PRIME could have made it's switch after it's early morning airing of M*A*S*H on June 1, when Night Heat first aired on the channel, but it didn't. The first airing of Night Heat on the channel, which was the first program to air that was part of the TVtropolis schedule, was actually aired on PRIME. The PRIME station ID was shown, and PRIME bug was displayed in the corner of the screen through the show. The station continued as PRIME for the early morning hours of June 1, until the end of Second Chance. At 6:00 A.M. Eastern time, after Second Chance ended, the PRIME station ID was shown. Then, without any farewell address of PRIME or welcoming address of TVtropolis, Sirens began airing with the TVtropolis bug displayed in the corner of the screen. The channel had officially switched from PRIME to TVtropolis. Nick 01:16, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous edit[edit]

Someone from an anonymous IP (69.198.108.51) made some sort of blanket revision/reversion/whatever to the article, tossing aside a whole bunch of recent changes without even leaving edit summaries. I've reverted the changes, and am now going to try to add in some material from their version to try to accomodate both. --Ckatz 03:50, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chatted with the editor, User:Cdn boi, who was quite open to discussion; issue resolved. --Ckatz 09:57, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User:74.109.62.238, Please stop reverting my edits without discussing them first on the talkpage, the reverts that you are making to an older version are causing the text to be pushed down too far down from the title, with my versions the text is uniform with the title, Also the Prime image is better suited to be on the left hand side and not the right as you have done. They call me Mr. Pibb 18:15, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the image back to the right-hand side. There is no reason - aesthetic or otherwise - to have it on the left, and it disrupts the flow of the page. As well, I have restored the "External links" section for consistency with accepted practice on television articles. Mr. Pibb, you are correct in noting that the link is already in the infobox. However, that does not mean it should be removed from the body of the article. Infoboxes serve to complement the information in the article, not to replace it. As for the IP editor, Mr. Pibb is correct in requesting that you discuss the edits. It is always good practise to open a discussion when a content dispute arises. --Ckatzchatspy 18:22, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The "External link" witht he official site is listed with all other television channels, and like Ckatz said, just because it is also mentioned in the infobox, it doesn't replace the info in the article. MusiMax 18:25, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I'm not going to get into a edit war or 3RR violation over this, so I'll go with whatever User:Ckatz and MusiMax say. They call me Mr. Pibb 18:29, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
