Formatting[edit]

A few points on formatting:

  • words in subheadings are not capitalized unless they are the first word or proper nouns - see WP:HEAD
  • boldfacing should be used only in specific circumstances -- see WP:BOLDFACING -- and not for emphasis
  • the names of newspapers, magazines and TV/radio programs should be italicized, but names of websites like the Huffington Post should not be. Ground Zero | t 17:59, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article currently says:

The Senate attempted to take up the legislation prior to the October recess working period, but failed to reach agreement on the Senate version (S.3628) on September 23, by a vote of 59-39 (Roll call # 240).

I find this sentence confusing. I suggest changing it to:

The bill failed in the Senate. On September 23 the bill's supporters came one vote short of the 60-vote majority required to end debate and bring the bill (S.3628) to a vote prior to Senate recess (Roll call # 240).

DISCLOSE Act of 2015[edit]

... is not (yet) included. I'm not sure of the notability of unpassed legislation, but, if we include some of these, we should include all. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 23:21, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
