Year of birth[edit]

I created this page, stating that he was born in 1947 (http://www.iol.ie/~ronolan/lunny.html). Somebody changed to 1945. Now I have restored it to 1947. Any dissenters, please put your evidence on this comments page, please. Ogg 08:24, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coolfin[edit]

Chris k (talk) 19:34, 29 December 2007 (UTC)I have added Coolfin to the discography, under the category "Solo," as the record is nominally credited to Lunny alone. It could be argued that it ought to be categorized under the group "Coolfin."[reply]

POV[edit]

Too much promotional sounding talk in the article. I tightened up the infobox some (guitar is not a notable instrument unless it is a notable kind of guitar, for example). So I cleaned up a little wording in the introduction, but please be careful not to show a positive or negative point of view in wording-- this is an encyclopedia. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 20:38, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Declan[edit]

Many, many years ago I bought a cd called 'Celtic Graces'. There was this glorious tune on uilleann pipe on it by Dónal Lunny named 'Declan'. I don't know anything about it but it was sublime.
