Untitled[edit]

Cyprus Airways has 60 years of service and a clean record of any fatalities and you can check this through the official site of aviation safety below, an impressive record with not even one crash. http://aviation-safety.net/database/operator/airline.php?var=6362

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 15:26, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Services Section[edit]

This section reads like an advertisment. It must be rewritten to reflect encyclopedic writing. Q43 (talk) 21:33, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Prose[edit]

This article was well written in the past, but recently, when I got in to check for any news, I found it rewritten in a flawed prose by a writer that seems to have translated from Greek. I rewrote the article mainly to fix the prose and with this opportunity, I added some current info found in http://www.planespotters.net/Airline/Cyprus-Airways . Q43 (talk) 14:27, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrites that do not add to an article, while adding spelling errors, syntax errors, and personal opinions do not have a place in Wikipedia! Q43 (talk) 09:10, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hub[edit]

An airport is hub for an airline if passengers from an arriving flight of that airline at that airport board another flight of said airline continuing their trip. Does this happen in Paphos? Q43 (talk) 14:27, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incidents[edit]

An encyclopedia should not hide events from the history of a country. The reference to Cyprus Airways Flight 284 must not be blanked. Q43 (talk) 09:08, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ok but it was a cyprus airways aircraft opperated by BEA so. cyprus aitways have had no crashes —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.11.140.211 (talk) 11:12, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have added it back in with the explanation that is was operated by BEA. Hope that covers it. Grafen (talk) 11:27, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It does. My simplistic approach told me to just include the Wikipedia link. Now, by the way, the link to Aviation Safety mentioned at the beginning of this page, http://aviation-safety.net/database/operator/airline.php?var=6362 , lists five incidents with Cyprus Airways aircraft. Should we include these too? (The two are those destroyed by the Turkish Air Force on the ground at Nicosia International Airport.) Q43 (talk) 12:51, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
