Merge proposal[edit]

I propose we merge Cyber Doctor here. Both are orphan stubs, but the topic is certainly worth a detailed article. Clicketyclack 10:26, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clicketyclack,
Sure, go ahead and merge the two, but do put in a re-direct so that folks find the information. Have you seen the clips of the military using remote medical consultation(etc) via satellite? I see we have similar interests, with the exception of physics.PEACETalkAbout 03:53, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Merged and redirected as agreed, thanks. Also updated redirects from Cyber Doctor.
We do indeed have several similar interests. And yes, have seen remote minor surgery performed across 12 time zones: simultaneously scary and exhilarating. All that remains is for me to help you develop an interest in physics... :-) ...biophysics in particular. Ever read any Richard Feynmann? He was not only a brilliant physicist, but a gifted writer and teacher. Clicketyclack 11:07, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just read about Richard Feynmann, he was quite an impressive man, beautiful life lines and a good drummer! As to linguistics, I have often thought about this since 1999, about the difference in learning by highly intelligent individuals. I noticed recently in Autism they have begun a replication of environments (re-creating the teaching environment for theraputic purposes in a controlled setting), which is funny as I was doing this in 1999 for someone with speech issues. I imagine you have looked at neurolinguistics? I think neurolinguistics is the next area of research for those mathematically inclined:-).
I mainly listened to Bill Wattenberg for years on end, who it would seem might have worked with Feynmann. My only other physics friend is now retired, but remains as Deputy Director Emeritus (I think that is when you know too much and can't really retire...). As to teaching me physics....read this for a good laugh [1]!PEACETalkAbout 19:08, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
