Article text matched a book[edit]

I've resolved the issue, but noting it here for posterity/reference. As previously written, this article explained the "policy for allowing crossclaims"--which seemed correct to me, but needed citation (and a copyedit). In the course of looking for a good reference, I came across this Google Books result: Textbook on Legal Language and Legal Writing, by Prof. Dr. K. L. Bhatia (2010), at p.175. The definition there appears to be an exact duplicate of a former version of this article. I note that the book has a copyright date of 2010, while some of the text at issue has been in this article since it was first drafted in 2006. So I'm not asserting that the Wikipedia editor committed any plagiarism. In any case, the text was uncited, and once I found an acceptable source (which was more difficult than I had expected), I thought it best to go ahead and rewrite the text to better reflect my source and, incidentally, to differentiate it more from Prof. Bhatia's book. --EightYearBreak (talk) 14:37, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
