Inconsistent definition[edit]

http://www.yogabasics.com/asana/crab-pose/ has shoulders hyper extended behind body

http://www.bbc.co.uk/northyorkshire/content/image_galleries/robs_yoga_gallery.shtml?16 has shoulders flexed by the head.

Both are supine quadruped postures but involve entirely different shoulder and spinal alignment.

There is clearly some confusion and overlap here. Compare to bridge (exercise).

You have static holds of both and walking of both.

I think we need to compare many reliable sources and see what the most consistent usage is, and find the most reliable way to describe these 2 postures while acknowledging the overlap between them. ScratchMarshall (talk) 06:33, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
