Coastguard station?[edit]

Since there are buildings called "Coastguard cottages" at Courtmacsherry, does this mean there was a coastguard station there? --MWLittleGuy (talk) 19:18, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Request[edit]

In section "Economy", after the sentence

"The village has a hotel and a caravan park, catering mainly for visitors from Cork."

used to be the following sentence

"There is also a small sailing school at the end of the village, known as the Courtmacsherry Water Sports Centre."

with a (dead) link reference to the sailing schools website. The sailing school is now gone and there is a kayak and windsurf centre there in its place. I would like to edit the article to show this, however I have a conflict of interest. I suggest the following wording:

"There is a windsurfing and kayaking centre at the end of the village, called Gecko Adventures" with a reference link to the website https://www.geckoadventures.ie A reference to https://courtmacsherry.ie/listing/gecko-adventures/ could also be included.

It can also be referred to as a "school", and it also does many other activities. It was established in 2019.

Thanks

  • Thank you for posting your edit request, it's most appreciated. Unfortunately however, the article is not really the best place to place links for local businesses. A link to the community's official website — where a further link to the school in question may be found — is already placed in the External links section. Readers interested in the area may click there to access this additional information.
