Route mostly dead?[edit]

This article is a bit confusing, and I have yet to see the documentation change, but suggests the road may have mostly been downgraded below CR status, as per the request, most CR 583 signage was, in fact, removed. https://www.state.nj.us/mvc/pdf/about/R_2015_d_127_(47_NJR_1979(a)).pdf Famartin (talk) 02:49, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The SLD still has CR 583 listed (although it was last inventoried in 2012), but other than that and spotty signage remaining, the route may have in fact been decommissioned. Dough4872 04:47, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
