Cornelis Janssens van Ceulen → Cornelius Johnson (artist) – Normally we should stick with the "preferred" name of the The Getty Union List of Artist's Names, which is the current name. But in this case it is clear that ALL recent major RS in English (and there has been a flurry of these in the last few years) use "Cornelius Johnson", including the first biography/monograph and the first 2 exhibitions dedicated to him. And, as Waldemar Januszczak points out, while taking a dig at Wikipedia's choice (near the end), CJ himself never actually used "Cornelis Janssens van Ceulen", which is an invention of later historians. As the article's Note 1 and "Name" section point out, CJ's naming is confusing even by 17th-century Dutch standards, but at least in English usage a clear new consensus seems to have emerged. The article's references section reads:

I support the move for the reasons given, although we should be aware that these reasons apply to the name used in the UK. In the Netherlands, the current article name is more common. However, this is the English Wiki. Rjm at sleepers (talk) 04:53, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

An example of portraiture, partially attributed to Johnson, was featured in Antiques Roadshow, on Series 45: 17. from Sefton Park Palm House in Liverpool.
