Contested deletion

The offer of "will be added to" is all well and good, provided it is done soon (it should have been done before the article "went live" on Wikipedia, so now you must justify it before it gets deleted— if you really have such references, please hurry, the clock is ticking!). Also, let me add here that the fact that the campaign exists does not de facto make it notable— notability requires non-trivial coverage in multiple, independent, reliable, verifiable sources, which is exactly what this article currently lacks. I can see citations to the Sydney Morning Herald and the Huffington Post, which I think is enough to stop a speedy deletion, so I have removed the tag. Ritchie333 ^{(talk) (cont)} 12:09, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

I checked, and none of those citations have anything to do with the "anti-bullying campaign created by Louise Burfitt-Dons in 2001". If the subject of this article is merely "the buzz term" "cool to be kind", there's no way that topic should have an article on Wikipedia; and if it's really about the anti-bullying campaign mentioned in the lede (as Cyberfan, this article's author, claims above), where are the relevant sources to establish notability? Apart from the campaign's official website in the first citation, literally none of the cited sources mention the Burfitt-Dons or her "Cool to be Kind"/"Act Against Bullying" campaign. The whole second half of this article is fluff that has nothing to do with the ostensible topic, wandering into unprovable generalizations about kindness ("In recent years acts of kindness have been increasing") and apparently unrelated kindness projects. Just because a news article or a blog happens to use the pun "cool to be kind" in its title—or mentions some unrelated kindness campaign—doesn't make it a relevant source here.

It's also worth noting that Louise Burfitt-Dons and the Act Against Bullying campaign already have articles—also created by Cyberfan. So I'm at a loss as to what separate purpose this article could serve, even if it were re-written and properly sourced. AtticusX (talk) 00:22, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
