About this List[edit]
This list collects biographical articles about persons who have contributed, not to gtr itself, but to the mathematical background for gtr.

Arrangement of list regarding links[edit]
I think the list will be totally cluttered with links if all (or most) of the actual contributions are linked. For example, take a look at Lagrange and Segre. If this pattern continues, I am convinced that the article will be less easy to read. However, it should not be too much of an effort for the reader to find links to the appropriate contributions; I suggest that all the contributions listed here be mentioned and linked in the contributors' article (for example, Segre classification be unlinked here and linked in the Corrado Segre article.
