CECLFCE name change[edit]

Can we change the title of this page to the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est, this is the name used on the municipal election list, and the official site. [1] [2].Andwats (talk) 05:14, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I just recently found out about this change, so I've taken the liberty to update all relevant Wikipedia articles. — Io Katai ᵀᵃˡᵏ 03:35, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CECCE English Name[edit]

Concerning this revision, the translation "Centre-East Catholic School Council" isn't used in any publications and the name "French Catholic School Board Center-East" isn't used anywhere other than a website called The Manotick Directory. In comparison, Google returns over thirty thousand English websites using the full French name or the abbreviation as is, and you can easily verify this by appending the definite article "the" before either one or modifying the Google search language settings. In light of this, the name of the Board already has an established usage in English publications in Canada, and therefore the translation you provided is non-notable and does not constitute a proper Alternative name. — Io Katai ᵀᵃˡᵏ 22:47, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Predecessor board[edit]

I found "The Conseil Des Écoles Catholiques de Langue Française de la Région D'Ottawa-Carleton"

It seems like it got merged in 1998.

May warrant a new article? WhisperToMe (talk) 19:35, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
