Conjuration (disambiguation)Conjuration – There is no primary topic for "conjuration". Apart from a few rarer uses, the word has two more or less equally common meanings: 1) the summoning of spirits (treated at Evokation), and 2) the performance of magic tricks (covered at Magic (illusion)). Also, the pageviews seem to suggest that a majority of readers who follow the redirect Conjuration then proceed to click the hatnote link to the disambiguation page [1]. – Uanfala (talk) 19:05, 12 March 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. 🐶 EpicPupper (he/him | talk) 01:07, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. As I pointed out in the RfD, in D&D conjuration and evocation are distinct schools of magic; see Magic in Dungeons & Dragons#Schools of magic. For that reason and those given by nom, I conclude there is no WP:PTOPIC and that the DAB page should be at the basename. Narky Blert (talk) 19:35, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I have no position in regard to the proposal, but am glad the discussion is happening! Pinging MB who reverted the original attempt to change to no primary topic. Mdewman6 (talk) 20:02, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Per Narky Blert's comment, I have added the D&D sense to the dab page. BD2412 T 05:18, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose "Conjuration" is not even mentioned in the article about stage magic. "Conjuring up" is in common parlance as causing something to appear, i.e. summoning something. It is perfectly fine as-is, evocation being the primary redirect. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 07:34, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Both the Wikipedia Conjuration (disambiguation) article and the Wiktionary definition of conjuration already list several alternative meanings, so this move is consistent with both of those. Re User:Zxcvbnm’s comment, if the article about stage magic doesn’t mention conjuration, then that’s an omission from that article, not an argument for opposing this request. Having Evocation as the primary redirect is just wrong. Masato.harada (talk) 14:44, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom, and per reasons listed by User:Masato.harada above. Paintspot Infez (talk) 00:08, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
